Robert Fetrow

Robert Fetrow has worked in the housing industry since 1997.  Before establishing HSF Consulting LLC, Robert Fetrow worked with several CPA firms with a focus on audits and consulting work with Public Housing Authorities.  Robert has worked as the controller of a large public housing authority, Atlanta Housing Authority, as well as completed over 500 Public Housing Audits and 200 consulting engagements of Public Housing Authorities ranging in size from 30 units to 15,000 plus. Robert has served as a speaker at conferences and trainer in the Public Housing industry.

 

He has worked with Public Housing Authorities with the reorganization of their housing stock and moving toward mixed finance developments. He has worked in all aspects of the mixed financed process including negotiation with developers, assistance with tax credit applications, organization of staff for management and accounting functions after the initial occupancy period, internal audits and the transition of ownership after the 15-year compliance period.

 

Robert possesses a strong understanding of Asset Management with a focus on implementing HUD Asset Management requirements adding a business perspective to maximize the benefits of Asset Management, as well as long-range operational and capital planning strategies.
